IRC223305 - BUDGET & REPORTING ANALYST

At Eni, we are looking for a Budget & Reporting Analyst within Eni Australia Limited in Perth, Western Australia. You will be responsible for p roviding economic and commercial support in respect of the upstream business and commercial activities of Eni Australia Business Unit.

As a member of the CFO Team at Eni Australia Limited you will be responsible for :

• S upporting the timely reporting of budget/forecast/plan and actual performance results in Company's database.

• Supporting the coordination of the budgeting and planning functions within the Business Unit; and

• Supporting special and contractual fiscal analysis to the business activities.

• Reporting of operating and financial results: Input and review of Eni BMS-Mastro, AROS, SAR and Segment reporting systems for budget, forecasts and actual process. Reporting to be done in line with petroleum contract and in compliance with the latest Reporting standards (IFRS).

• Assisting with the preparation of Monthly, Quarterly & Annual financial statements and implementation.

• Compilation of financials for the quarterly forecasting, 4 year plan and long term plan processes, including facilitating technical and administrative departments contributions.

• Preparation of production, operative data and P&L/CF variance analysis.

• Cost control on budget expenditure.

• Assisting with the preparation of Current and Deferred Tax Calculations.

• Assisting with the preparation of supporting documentations to timely comply with the Sarbanes Oxley controls of the functions.

• Maintaining updated internal production, capex, opex and cash flow forecasts for economical modelling purposes and for Free Cash Flows projections;

• Ensuring the coordination of the Authorization for Investment and Monitoring processes for Development investments;

• Supporting the Planning & Reporting Coordinator in preparing Management Presentations for planning processes (Budget, Forecast, Outlook, Business Plan), provide support in analysis of Contractual or Fiscal matter relevant to the Company. In coordination also with third parties and fiscal advisors).

• Performing analysis of budget, forecast and actual reporting.

• Preparing of responses to audit and HQ requests.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :

• Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Economics.

• MBA preferred.

• experience in management accounting/ or economics roles.

• Chartered Accountant or CPA qualified.

• IFRS knowledge and reporting skills for a large energy organization,

• Individual will preferably be familiar with Corporate planning and reporting cycle of an Oil and Gas Company and generation of planning and budgeting deliverables (Business Plan, 4 Year Plan, Long Term Plan, Ceiling (impairment) tests);

• Knowledge of Petroleum Contracts and Taxation Law;
