Overview / Responsibilities Wood is currently seeking a driven, experienced, and ambitious Project Manager to be based in Gladstone for an immediate start.
The ideal candidate will have a desire to grow Wood's presence in the region, and act as the main client interface, leading a team in delivering a portfolio of Sustaining Capital EPCm and EPC projects. Both Client-facing and Hands-on project delivery experience within the Gladstone Industry would be strongly preferred.
Responsibilities - Gladstone region profitability and growth
- Project manage and lead team/s to deliver a portfolio of projects from front end design, through to detailed design, procurement, construction, hand over and close-out.
- Overall responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical success of the project portfolio.
- Client/Stakeholder engagement and management
- Statement of Requirements throughout the phasing of the project from concept, detail design, and site implementation of the company quality management system for the project
- Implementation of the company quality management system for projects
Skills / Qualifications - Client engagement and business development
- Minimum 10 years direct Project Management experience managing EPC or EPCM Resources and Industrial related projects.
- Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team and clients.
- Hands-on and performance driven Senior Project Manager.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- Demonstrated strong commitment to safety and implementation of strong change management practices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
