The WCE TLM Manufacturing Engineer Continuous Improvement is involved to develop standard remanufacture and recertification processes, including in field recertification, and support the deployment and adoption on all TLM locations globally.
This position will participate in other process improvement initiatives including both manufacturing and administrative processes. Employee will be a key actor to enable best practices sharing and implementation globally.
In addition, employee can be involved to support any new TLM capacity development to help define standard manufacturing equipment/tools specifications. Based on the defined solution employee might help to design the new layout.
  • Demonstrate rigor, dynamism and creativity to support processes improvements.
  • Development of effective working relationships with Repair locations, PL and GeoUnit organizations.

  • Report to the Continuous Improvement Manager in the Global Ops Support team as detailed below for the service line:
  • Create and document standard remanufacture and recertification processes to be followed by all TLM locations globally to meet the cost and lead time targets.
  • Define remanufacture vs replace components strategy for each type of product to optimize the total repair cost.
  • Develop standard toolings/fixtures, standard task lists, standard repair drawings to be used globally.
  • Create and document standard In-field recertification processes to be followed globally.
  • Support the deployment and adoption of the standard processes in all locations globally.
  • Work with the team on the digital transformation journey for of all our TLM processes.
  • Communicate, train all TLM plants and GeoUnits on all improvements and push the new processes adoption
Participate to develop specification packages for new TLM capacity creation: Define standard machine specifications for each process / toolings / fixtures / test equipment and accessories; Run capacity and through put calculations; Size and design the layout based on needed capacity; Support the implementation of the new capacity.
  • Commit on timelines for all projects and ensure they are met.
  • Analyze historical repair orders to understand where improvements are needed.
  • Measure cost savings related to our initiative improvements
  • Participate or lead continuous improvement workshops or project teams.
  • Apply the Lean/Six Sigma roadmaps and tools to efficiently guide teams to reduce defects and improve process efficiency that results in positive financial impact to the company. Optimizes performance by analyzing processes using established continuous improvement techniques, such as statistical analysis.

Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing or other relevant discipline. 3+ years experience in a Manufacturing, Industrial or Product Engineering in oil and gas industry. Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP system. Must be able to travel domestically or internationally 25%.
